Thailand Vocal Zebra Dove Competition

When Vocal Zebra Dove give one Display Coo we count this "a word". One word contain one display coo and this consist of 6 factors as follows,

Begining / Middle steps / Inner Rhythm / Ending / Overall Rhythm / Air Suara (Volume & Voice Quality )

1. Begining (come na or payang na) is the first sound of display coo. The standards we like to determine for few factors like these follow.

1.1 Long Begining is the first sound of display coo with a long voice

1.2 Short Begining is the first sound of display coo with a short voice

1.3 Straight Begining is the first sound of display coo with a stream of voice that start and end like a linear or flat, no emphasizing nor changing pitch such as Ko- Wo-

1.4 Heave Begining or emphazised begining is the first sound of display coo with changing pitch from the start to make voice bold such as KWAAO- WAAO or other same sound

Te marks will be given to each dove by quality of begining. There are 4 types of begining voice can gain marks in competition.

a full score in this category is 20 marks

2. Middle Steps (payang klang) and Rhythm(jung wa) middle steps is a sound which is in between beginning and ending, the judge count middle steps by these details,

- a light middle steps with a voice similar to "ra"

- a clear middle steps with a voice similar to "ka"

- a massive middle steps with a voice similar to "da" or "ta"

- middle steps can place in different position, if placed close to ending called "klang chid plai", if placed close to begining called "klang chid na " , if middle steps close to each other called "klang chid or klang ten" for instance.

- steps and rhythm are all connected to each other , middle steps tell characteristics of an inner rhythm of display coo.

about one middle step dove, his middle step will take inner rhythm into 2 parts and this is called 3 steps dove/2 inner steps dove .

about two middle steps dove , the inner rhythm will be 3 parts and this dove will be 4 steps dove with 3 inner steps.

- middle steps is the part that tells inner rhythms, an intrend ones should be slow, with good interval, a little pause before ending would very nice to listen to.

middle steps standards contain both numbers of step and sharpness

Overall Rhythm is an interval between each display coo, counting from ending of one display coo to the beginning of next display coo.

Inner Rhythm is an interval of each steps

full score on this rhythm is 10 marks
